My I-129F was approved by TSC on June 2, and our case was forwarded to NVC on June 6,

and I just received a letter from NVC saying that they have forwarded our case to China (dated June 19).

So after a slooooooooooooooooooow near 6 months of wait, now it's picking up speed.

Congrats johnim!! Am glad that it's speeding up for you.! atleast u didn't have to wait months for NVC to move your petition!! :D

just checking in to see how everyone is doing, and so happy for those who have been approved! and praying for those still waiting! i'm still fighting to get our denial overturned, the consulate has changed the reason why they denied us again, saying that they don't think that we know one another truly, so the battle rages on.... gave them more than they needed to prove our love and devotion and we have known one another a long time, years, and gave proof of it. time will bring our happiness, and it will to you all too, praying for you! it will be worth it all when you are finally together! hang in there! :clock:

I hope you resolve your denial situation...I would be devastated if that were to happen to me! Tanak's fiance(e) is from India. and she/he was asking if India's a highfraud Country.. Tanak received RFE and you got your denial..!Have you heard of any other petition with India being the beneficiary's country approved or denied/ received an RFE besides you guys ?

My NOA2 was 5/22 and sent to NVC on 5/28, NVC received it on 6/10 and entered it on 6/11...as of this morning I called and they said it takes longer than 2 weeks and I'll get an email not a letter. I'm so confused now! :(

You received an actual letter and not an email, right?

Also when you check on CEAC what does it say? Mine still says "At NVC"

Well my friends I faxed my privacy release to my congressman's office a few moments ago. Let's see if they can move them a little.

Good for you and good luck! Everyone should be doing that who is so unlucky to have their petition processed at the TSC.

Searched my case, and after being told at 7:30am this morning that we were in AP (as is normal for NVC) I looked this afternoon and it was updated to this. What confuses me is, the last 2 people I spoke with at NVC stated they would contact me via EMAIL - this screen shot I attached said "Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center." k...so what now? Neither myself nor my fiance got an email. I also thought the embassy sets the interview date, not NVC...am I wrong? We really need to know when his interview is because literally this morning I booked a ticket to Morocco to go see him. The last thing I need is them thinking I went out there for the interview because as of 7am this morning it would take an 'indeterminable amount of time' so I figured ok, I want to spend his birthday and Eid with him, I'm going out there. Then purchased the ticket. Literally 2 hours later, checked CEAC and saw this. If I call NVC will they give me more info?

This is normal to see on CEAC. Your case has been sent to your embassy and they will contact you once it has arrived in a week or so. They are the ones that arrange the interview. The reason CEAC says NVC provided the interview date is because with most visa's (like CR1) , NVC does in fact send the interview date prior to sending to the embassy. Don't fret! :)

oh thanks :) so many of my questions go unanswered here, I'm so happy you responded so quickly :dancing: When I saw that my heart literally stopped at work because in my head was "is it before, during or after my trip there?!" I guess we'll have to wait and see. So basically the embassy receives the papers, then they send him packet 3 with instructions...then what? Does he complete everything in packet 3 (which I presume is just the medical?) and send it back to them, and when they receive it back they give him an appointment letter?

I believe packet 3 will be sent with the list of required documents/checklist that needs to be completed then sent back to get packet 4. You can delay the interview by delaying sending packet 3 checklist. However, my packet 3/packet 4/interview stages are different because Sydney Australia did an overhaul and changed it so we only get a packet 3 with the interview date included! No more packet 4. So best to get someone from your country to help. Probably try the regional discussion forum! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/

I have question? I send back my RFE, so now I won't hear anything till decision is made right. Do they let you know, that they received RFE?

The USCIS website will update its status if they receive your RFE submission. You will get a text/email when they do. Something like this.

QUESTION:

When I check on CEAC status is "Ready" Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

Does this mean the embassy received the case already and will be sending out packet 3?
