Did you lie and say you had already met? Because that could be construed as immigration fraud.

My fiance and I were denied our I-129F after ten months because, due to my serious illness, we were unable to meet in person. They have exemptions but even in my case where I was on dialysis they did not approve it. :(

Alhamdulillah we refiled in March 2013 and by then we had met 2 times and I went another time after that. So when we refiled we were approved and just had his interview at embassy and his visa is issued.

Its very important to follow all the rules and it's hard to get an exception even when you do qualify. If you lied, however, that is a totally different story.

Hi Ismail, as you have figured out, meeting within two years before filing is required. I also think that if a couple thinks about getting married, they should have at least seen each other once or twice, or how will you know that you are actually compatible?

Before you re-file, please read those links carefully:

It is a requirement to have met within 2 years previous to filing. Your only option is to wait for the denial and file again with evidence of having met. Make sure this time you give them everything they require.Casablanca is by far one of the most difficult consulates, you need to be sure you cross all of your t's and dot your i's.
