K-1 Evidence of Ongoing Relationship

Hello All....kind of a dumb question, but I am a little confused....I am gathering up together our I29F package for my fiancee who lives in Ukraine. My question is, when does the "proof of ongoing relationship" come into play? Should I submit this proof now with the I-129F, or is it more important when she goes for her interview in Kiev? I was planning on including SOME proof of our relationship, like copies of our engagement announcement on Facebook, phone records showing international calls/texts and the engagement ring receipt. Thanks!!!!!

In general: Proof of a On-Going Relationship is after the submital of the 129-F until the time of the Interview. HOWEVER, Do send what you listed anyway. It's not out of line to do so and not front loading the Petition at all. You see: Later it will help show the relationship has grown since the submission of the Petition. Thats my thought. JUST DO IT!

Yes you should submit the proof now with the I-129F.

She should also bring originals or copies, as appropriate, to the interview.

Proof of ongoing relationship comes into play at the Embassy interview stage, but I would read up on reviews of the Embassy at Kiev to see just how important it is. I know that there are some Embassies where front loading is helpful.

hi, the USCIS need the proof of personal meeting in the last two years and the proof of ongoing relation is a kind of an extra plus to show that all is real. In my case we added everything for the I-129F (all forms that are requiered, intents to marry, photos, engagement ring receipt, tickets, some skype chats, facebook chats, letter from parents etc.etc.etc.) But for the interview in Kiev your fiancee will need for sure to present proof of ongoing relation and other docs as US consulate ask for. Nothing is required at this time but a little front loading doesn't hurt also. Your call on that.
