DS-160 and/or DS-260/261 for K1?

Prior to my fiance going to her medical/interview, we filed the DS-160 online because we were near the cusp and wanted to make sure everything was covered. The visa went into Administrative Processing. Do we also have to complete the DS-260 and/or 261? I went to the CEAC site and clicked on the link for the DS-260, but it seems to want the Invoice Number from the NVC, and no idea where to find that as it was not on the letter I received from them telling me the case had been forwarded to the embassy.

So bottom line are the 260 and 261 required for a K1 or not? If so, where do I find my Invoice number?

They are not required. Embassies have clear instructions to NOT accept the DS260 for K1 visas.

I did my DS 260 online, I called NVC and they gave me the invoice number....I would complete it just to make sure because the DS 160 only replace the DS 230, 156, and 157

Only the DS-160 is used. Follow the embassy instructions letter for ALL that is required.
