I AM SORRY. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT SOMEONE, NO MATTER HOW BAD THEIR SITUATION, WHO SPEAKS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY IN THAT MANNER. YES YOU HAVE THAT RIGHT, BUT I WOULD NEVER ALIGN WITH SOMEONE WHO CALLS OUR COUNTRY A "ROTTING CESSPOOL" AND THAT "THIS COUNTRY SUCKS".

Well I am sorry you feel that way. For my part I bear no ill will against the guy who started throwing all types of "America love it or leave it" attacks/insults at me personally (and whom the mods never saw fit to edit in any way).

I am not going to defend what I said because I feel it would only make you more angry with me. I am just going to say that if you put your feelings about a post I made while I was in a highly emotional state and a very bad place, in large part because of the stress of this terrible process, above your family and your wish to reunite with them than there is nothing that I can or could say to dissuade you. I worked for Obama's campaign as a field organizer and I consider myself a die-hard leftist. Despite this I am more than willing to work with the Republican party and affiliated interest groups because they are the ones who are safeguarding my interests and the interests of my family. When it comes to my wife, there are very few people with whom I would not make common cause to secure our reunification. I would just advise you to take the same view I do, and if you do not, good sir/ma'am, then you to are entitled to your opinion which I do respect. God's speed and hopefully you'll get your spouse's visa soon.

Things have been f'ed up since DACA apps were allowed to go through, circa 15 AUG 2012.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Importance: High
Please see the following information which describes the workload shift from the NBC to the field. NBC is seeking to bring on additional staff to assist with their increased workload due to DACA. As they gain more staff, the NBC will resume its current case preparation processes and take back the adjudication of the stand-alone IR I-130 petitions. The timeframe that they will resume this work is unknown at this time.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Pardon the intrusion on your overzealous rant but you JUST sent your petition in three days ago. If anyone else joins you on this rant, they're foolish. You should put your anger back in your pocket and give up on this process now before you destroy every opportunity you have to get your spouse here with you. If you're this angry now and you havent even gotten in to the line yet, by the time you have more work to do and/or have to communicate with the government to finalize paperwork, what the hell kind of crazy will you be by then. You really should calm down and wait like all the rest of us. You sure as hell arent hoping with that that youre going to get any special favors. Good grief. If anyone else on VJ subjects their real self and their spouses identity to you and puts themself in this firestorm you're trying to start, your spouse and theirs will never get thru the interview and you'll be in line for longer than the rest of us. Just sayin. You wont hear back from me again. Hope you get the old heeve ho here by VJ. Good.luck.

Well yes the OP clearly needs to calm down but do you seriously think sitting on your ### and waiting for an interminable amount of time without any reaction is the right way to deal with the current situation? People need to feel like they have some action open to them whether it is appealing to their political representatives, petitioning the White House or maybe making this video. It's their choice and feeling like you are doing something and not completely powerless is much better for everyone's mental health. USCIS don't give a damn about our petitions, and the only way to make those at the top respond is if questions start being asked by the press and politicians. I don't even mean processing applications faster, I mean providing information on what they are actually going to do to respond to the backlog instead of the daily conflicting information being provided to individual callers. Getting that information is perfectly possible if the right people are asking questions. How long will you and your spouse have to wait before you start caring? Another 6 months, a year?

What exactly are you suggesting USCIS to do to make the whole process more efficient? I am all for wanting a better & faster process, but I also want to know specifics, and not just pointing out whats wrong, but also having concrete & feasible suggestions.

Theres a lot of people filed I-130 that is not a VJ member... Probably 100,000 plus a month and theres only 100 plus a month that a VJ member.. I always think that if there is one vj member got approved in a day theres probably 10 approvals that is not a VJ member...

The problem isn't the speed of the process itself it's that they need to actually start processing the applications instead of hoarding them and shifting them around! So potential solutions would include hiring more staff using the fees we pay, reallocating resources from K1 to CR1 (K1's are ridiculously fast at the moment) or making the DACA people wait in turn which is only fair. Are these feasible enough for you?
