A few last minute questions

1) 2 money orders... $1000 and $70, I assume that is fine?

2) Paperclip the money orders to a sheet of paper and staple a baggy (with the 2 photos inside) to a sheet of paper, correct?

3) Is it recommendable to put the money order and photos in front of the rest of the packet before my cover letter with table of contents or can I put them where I have them listed on my table of contents in the middle of the packet? Like the 7th and 8th item?

4) Is a black or blue ball point pen acceptable to write name and A# on the back of the photos?

1) Yes.

2 and 3) I think it is best to paperclip the money orders up front on top of the cover letter. Passport photos can go behind the forms they are required for.

4) I suppose if you do not press hard to avoid large indentations in the photos. Felt tip like a fine Sharpie might work better.

We sent one check/money order for $1,070.00 to cover both. The fee for the I-485 is $985.00 and biometrics is $85.00. The amounts need to be correct or they will decline the application.

OH! Be sure to apply for your EAD/AP card at the same time---the fees are included if you apply all at once.

Yes, they are sending a total of $1070, but some money orders have a limit of $1000, so they need to use one for $1000 and another for the $70.
