I have been very grateful for the insight and help on my questions so far. This site is awesome!

I'm about to send in my I-129F form and just want to run it by some of you to see if there is anything I should do differently. Also, I have some questions that I'm sure are silly, but I just can't help but question myself.

1. For the address to send it to, I have seen different locations mentioned here, but the address I have found to send it to is:

USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

Is this the right one for Express mail with the US Postal Service?

2. With all of my documents and forms that I will send in (listed below), is it ok to have each section paper-clipped together? Should I have dividers with labels for each section? I know I read that some people pre-hole punch everything, but I'm nervous to do that, for fear of doing it wrong. I guess I just need to know how the simplest and best way to send it all in is :)

Here is the list of things I'm sending:

I begin with my cover letter that follows the sample cover letter from VJ.

Contents include:

  • Payment in the amount of $340
  • Form G-1145
  • USCIS Form I-129F
  • I-129F Supplement: Part 2,
    • Question 3.b. Street Number and Name.
    • Question 29. a. Street Number and Name
    • Question 34.a. explanation of meeting in person

  • Copy of US Birth Certificate (Petitioner)
  • Letters certifying Intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)
  • Proof of having met in person in the past two years (in addition to passport stamps above)
    • Flight itineraries to and from the Philippines
    • Flight receipt and itinerary to and from the Philippines
    • Copy of Boarding passes from Philippines to Salt Lake City, Utah
    • Copy of receipts for flights from Angeles City to Kalibo and Kalibo to Manila
    • Copies of Boarding pass from Kalibo to Manila, ATM receipts in Boracay and the Obama Grill in Boracay, and snorkeling in Boracay
    • Copy of receipt and reservation for lodging at the Spiderhouse Resort in Boracay, Philippines

    • 16 Photos of us together in the Philippines

Thanks again ahead of time for everyone's help!

Yes. Names are on the photos and dated. I will say though, the photos were printed as color copies from my computer. They aren't on fancy photo paper. I assume that's ok?

Hi, we didn't have ours on "fancy photo paper". We just printed the photos on 8 1/2 x 11 bond paper and had 2 pictures per paper from our computer printer. Handwritten details per photo. 10 pictures all in all. So you should be okay.

We also chose activity photos and different backgrounds ie. us swimming, biking, at the ballpark, partying, with his and her family, in the Philippines, in US.

Good luck!!!

In case it got lost but it's better for your fiancée to take a copy to the interview as the interviewer might ask questions based on the stuff you submit in the initial application.

They may ask you to send them photos printed from a place like Walgreens (I printed mine off at Target). The requirements for photos are found under "Documentary proof in person in the past two years and an ongoing relationship."

They will not ask for photos to be printed from a place like Walgreens. Photos can be printed out on regular printer paper. They do not have to be on photo paper or actual photo prints from a store. That guide makes a suggestion as to what you can provide. It is not an absolute. No one receives RFEs for photos printed on regular paper at home that I have ever seen over the years.

don't punch holes in your documents and other papers just put a large clamp on top of your file you can use a rubber band on the lower end, when your file gets to the uscis it's all taken apart then put in there file.

I punched holes in mine, inserted it into a binder with tabs and a compliance matrix (index) for the reviewer. My pics were printed out on glossy paper 4 up with description on the opposite side to include location, names, and dates.

There are many ways to submit the application but the idea is to make it as easy for the reviewer as possible. Im sure when the reviewer opened mine, they were relieved to find such an organized application.

Good luck!
