Bit concerned about something..

I was supposed to be starting a new job in October, so on my G325a (I'm the beneficiary) we decided to write the new job on my employment history. From October this year until present time.

However, my boss has said I am unable to start yet (possibly until late November unfortunately..) so I am a bit concerned. I wrote it on there thinking I was going to be starting in October. Have I made a big mistake in doing this?

The problem is I've already mailed my G325a to my fiancé, and he's already mailed our whole application to the Dallas lockbox...I'm not sure what to do? When I mailed it to him I was certain I was going to be starting work soon

Am I going to get in any trouble/face a denial or something?

Also it's already arrived with USCIS (we had tracked postage haha) should we be getting NOA1 soon?

Thanks! Hopefully this is not as big of a problem as I think it is ^^;

How would USCIS know if you started or didn't? I've never known them to call the UK and verify dates.

Hey again! You helped me before! :D

They don't? In that case I'm worrying for nothing, haha!

USPS site says our petition got there yesterday, when should we expect the NOA1? I see a lot of people's timelines but those usually seem to just say when they mailed it (which probably adds on a few days, I'm guessing!) ?

Thanks again :)

Yes, I don't think that's an issue at all.

From what I know, if all is well, NOA1's tend to be fairly quick, a couple of weeks or so. It's the NOA2 that takes a while.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

When you signed the G-325A you attested that it was true to "the best of your knowledge."

It was.

Yours is processing at TSC. Mine also was there. They are pretty quick handed out approvals and also well known sent it fast to NVC after NOA-2. We were approved in 38 days, got case number less than 2 weeks, and my case now is ready for interview at US embassy in Jakarta. Good luck for your journey.

Edit:

Oops, I checked your timeline and says TSC. But you don't have your NOA-1 yet. On your NOA-1 indicates which service center will processing your I-129F. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Oh wow that's awesome! I'm really happy to hear that :)

Am I right in thinking that the service center depend on where the US petitioner lives? My fiancé is in Utah so he'd be at either the Texas or California one, right?

If our case got accepted that fast we would both be so happy!! Best of luck to you with your interview! :)

I am not positive in which service center will processing yours if your fiance lives in Utah. Maybe some others here will shed some lights for you.

I am hoping you'll get fast approval. The fastest one I've seen here so far was approved in 18 days. Hope you can break the records, content.gif . Good luck!
