I would say I got a mix of easy to mildly difficult questions. In the grand scheme of things I don't consider any of the questions "hard" except for a handful that I had trouble memorizing (such as the one about people who wrote in the Federalist Papers), and even those aren't "hard" per se, just a bit more obscure. Then again I may have a different outlook since I'm a history grad and have very little difficulty memorizing this sort of data.

As for the paperwork, no, I didn't need any of it. The IO wanted to see my driver's license and that's about it. But you'll have to bring your stuff anyway, just because I or anybody else did or did not get asked to show any documents doesn't mean you will or will not.

You can read my account of what happened at my interview over there:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/479361-my-interview-experience-at-the-philadelphia-field-office-february-2014/

I appreciate your feedback. And I did read your re-cap of the interview. Thanks!

Not sure about what number to call, but I got my letter 2 days after the status change online. My status changed on 2-10 and my oath was on 2-20.

Guys,

Does the status always change to "Oath ceremony scheduled" from "oath ceremony queue"? My district office is San Antonio. I have spoken to couple of folks in this district and these folks received the oath letter without any updates to their case status. Their case status on the USCIS website still shows them as Oath Ceremony queue.

I have been waiting for this change for little over a month now, so curious about it.

Thanks,

Still f-all from Pittsburgh USCIS. I guess I'm going to send a letter asking what the delay is. Completely fed up with this nonsense!

Congratulations!!! Two weeks! That's awesome!

Thanks! Yes, that's according to the IO. I asked him what the time frame was, and he said that I should receive the letter in one week, and be scheduled for the ceremony in less than a week after receiving the letter. So, that's what I'm going by.

I understand it's frustrating. What does your status say online? Mine is in the oath scheduling que as well, however, the next paragraph says this:

You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies.

I am just wondering if the same applies to you? That said, I hope you get your oath date soon!

Thanks. Yeah, that's what it says. That's just 'boilerplate,' that message always says '45 days.' Beyond a couple of weeks is abnormally long for Pittsburgh, that's why I'm so damn pissed off. We have plans that this is screwing up. I've got the letter written and will send it overnight first thing in the morning.
