We submitted the DS-260 online on Saturday and today realized that in the "Previous U.S. Travel Information" section we forgot to include the applicant's most recent visit to the US from December 21 2011 to January 8 2012. What can we do to correct this omission?!?! The only thing I can think of is emailing the consulate and let them know. I could also attach (to the email and/or to Packet 3) the overview page that I printed out with the correction on it, signed by the applicant.

Any help? Does this count as a "minor" error?

Aren't there any possibilities to edit/correct the submitted form?

By the way I am curious - how many travels can you enter using the online form? I did more than 4 and the paper version requires me to add additional paper to include the fifth one. Very curious how it works in online form. I did not get the possibility to fill it out (yet).

I did quite a lot of clicking around the site, and there doesn't seem to be any way to change anything once it's submitted.

We didn't have too many travels to enter (2), so we never reached the limit, if there is one.

It's only the 5 most recent trips to the US, so you don't have to inform them of any beyond that, if I recall correctly.

I haven't experienced this but I have been told that you can correct it at the embassy during the interview. Perhaps a more knowledgeable person can confirm this though. Could you email the embassy and ask?

Questions please regarding previous visits to the US to be documented on Visa application. My husband traveled to the US (from Japan) three times over a span of 5-10 years, once to Hawaii for a week, a weekend trip to Guam and a group tour trip to California (where the travel company accounted for the group visa...he didn't actually apply for that one himself). None of these trips have been any more recent than 10-15yrs ago if not longer. Anyone have a feel for how far back this information needs to go? Also, there's a good chance we won't be able to recover the dates for these trips, in some cases, perhaps not even the required month/year and I don't (necessarily) want to guess. I'm most concerned that ommitting those on the DS-260 might initiate an RFE and hold us up, but I also don't want to document incorrect information, because afterall, they could just look it up and find the dates themselves if they choose to and smack us for false information. Any experience or expertise would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much

I also need help with DS260. My husband already submitted DS 260, but after submitting he realized he made a mistake. Can he correct it after its been submitted? What should we do? Please help. The question that he messed up on is "Have you lived anywhere else after the age of 16?" He answered "No" when it should have been "Yes". Please help.
