Interview questions, what do I need to do beforehand (split topic)

Hi Everyone, My fiance called NVC lastweek friday and was told our case has been sent to Lagos consulate. Now i have a couple of questions and some clarity. Please help..........

1) Should i wait for Lagos embassy to contact me and how long? or Do i email them immediately with our case number?

2) As for the documents that my Fiance (Petitioner) has to send to me (i.e Affidavit, tax etc), should they be sealed or open envelopes for interview.

3) Please i would reaaly appreciate a comprehensive list of documents to be sent by Fiance ( Petitioner)

4) Does anyone have a sample of the DS-160 form for k1 visa application

5) How and where to get the right police report in Lagos

Do i email them immediately with our case number? Yes

No need to seal. Just make sure anything signed ois the original.

3) Please i would reaaly appreciate a comprehensive list of documents to be sent by Fiance ( Petitioner). Like what do you mean. You just listed. Now if you didn't frontload bring your evidence of bonafide relationship they may ask or already render a decision based on what you already submitted. However some other K1's can give you more i am sure.

4) Does anyone have a sample of the DS-160 form for k1 visa application. google DS-160 it will come up.

5) How and where to get the right police report in Lagos. At the main pollice head quarters at Algabon. Shouldn't cost more than N5000 can get same day also.

Call NVC back and get your LGS number

Go to GT Bank and pay $240

I sent complete I129f, bank info, work info, tax return, pictures, Phone logs, email logs etc

easy it's at CID alagbon and you can get it same day. Also don't forget you medical

you should go ahead and email lagos embassy to send you the packet 3, make ur visa pymt and go online to schedule ur interview date.you do not need to seal any docs. medical and police report can be done a week before the interview date or you can just do them now if you want to.just make sure you and your fiance has enough proof of ongoing relationship also make sure you know your fiance very well like where she lives, works, family etc. Your fiancee needs to send you at least 2 most recent pay stubs. Is they a format for sendin that email... My case reads READY on their website. Qstn1: should my fiancee recieve a mail from NVC? Qstn2: is there a format for sendin the lagos consulate an email as regards packet 3? Qstn3: nau that it states READY, whut shld b my next step?

What have you done so far? Have you paid setup interview., NVC will just send you case# nothing more. You should be calling them to receive it so you aren't delayed than you email the embassy lagosiv@state.gov and you can go to website and get all the documents downloaded you need for interview time don't wait around for anyone you ned to be calling and emailing.

Email them with the case number, The beneficiary and petitioner names.

Do not wait for them to contact you.

They need only the I-134 and DS-160 (online form). If you have filled out the other forms, let your Fiance take them with him to the interview. Just in case.

After payment, you will need the receipt number to setup your interview online. The earlier you work on it the better. Interview dates for the rest of the year are almost all gone.
