What Happened to my womans Birth certificate after POE SEattle?

My Pinays Birth certificate is missing in action! She tells me the guy at the POE in Seattle Kept it! (perhaps it was in the "pack" that your not suppose to open??)

anyway,,will it be returned when we interview for AOS or something somewhere down the road? or is it gone forever??

#######??? a copy is no good in the USA,,you need the actual certificate for it to be of any value,,,why was she made to turn in the original??

What I mean is, she should have brought multiple copies if her NSO BC (not xerox copy).

We can request as many as we want at NSO, each "copy" will be printed in NSO security paper, so each "copy" is considered original.

You can still order copies from e-Census: https://www.ecensus.com.ph/

They accept credit cards. Through regular PhilPost, the birth certificate will be delivered within 6-8 weeks from payment or so the website says. But you have the option to use other couriers such as FedEx or UPS, just that you have to contact them about additional fees.

I ordered mine online when I was still in the Philippines, within Metro Manila and I got mine 2 days after payment. Hope this helps. :)

so, she had 1.

and submitted that 1 into the IV Unit.

The IV Unit put it into the Visa Packet.

She handed the Visa Packet over to the CBP goon at the POE.

Did she make any scan and email it to you ?

You can order and pay with credit card at the web site mentioned above. In addition, they will you can have it shipped to you in the United States.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.

They dont use UPS anymore,,instead you wire the money to a lady at the office and they use a courier

who subcontracts to UPS,,, headbonk.gif

It seemed shady,,but it showed up in no time! cost about 100 bucks for all 3 copies shipped to USA
