Hellow Good day every one here we are CR- 1 and almost 5 months now since we file our application in uscis but the congressman of the state of my husband update us that our Application are currently transferred by the national benefits center , my question it's possible to apply a tourist visa to make vacation to my husband country while we waiting the result of Noa2 ? Goodness you already called your congressman for 5 months. You realize it could be 9 to 16 months.

You can always apply for a visitor visa but unlikely to be approved.

I suggest you don't apply for a tourist visa because there is a high possibility it will be rejected. One because even if you were a carrying a multiple entry tourist visa before the petition, they will eventually cancel even that. Which makes it reasonable to think that they are unlikely to issue another one if a petition for you has been applied. Another is that you won't be able to show strong ties to PI anymore because they will see it that you have stronger ties here in the US because of your husband and would have a lot of reason to stay once you get here.

What I suggest is he visit you instead. That way you won't spend too much Good luck!

I though that Cr-1 process is only 9-12 months but I heard from you now almost 16 months it's that right ???
