Ok so im VERY new to this whole k-1 visa and today is the first day i actually sat down in order to tackle the paper work. The first question that came up is 1) Are g-325 forms still requires? if so 2) Is it absolutely necessary that mine (alian fiance) is originally signed, because i would have to sign it here where i am (outside the US) and then mail it to him, which will delay the process... =/

3) Can i take a screen shot of my facebook in order to send as Supporting Evidence, we use our facetime to talk to each other and that doesnt really show much other than he is the only person i pretty much talk to.. Will it help? would it even count?? anyway if anyone could please help!!! Thanks

It's the G-325A if memory serves, not the G-325. Don't send the wrong one, or you'll get an RFE that will cause further delays.

If you have chat logs that's great, but you need solid evidence that you've met physically in the last 2 years. Passport stamps and boarding passing, with some supporting photos are your friend here.

And yes, you'll want them originally signed, same with the Letter of Intent.

Yes, it is very important that your fiance sign the g-325a form and in blue ink so it can not be mistaken for a scanned copy

or risk a RFE and delays. Same for the 'letter of intent.'

Yes, you can take screen shots of FB pages or print your inbox/chat messages.

Your supporting evidence sounds too lean with only FB, add emails, skype and yahoo logs.

There are free apps such as Viber to send text messages, videos and pic and you can screen print those call logs

and email yourself the messages and then print them.

Some consulates prefer a network cell or land line itemized bill over apps like Viber.

Whatever you use it must show a detailed record of name, phone number called, date and call length, so no calling cards

unless they can provide detailed call logs.

Proof that you were together, any and all receipts such as hotel etc. Boarding passes from all your trips.

Photos of you together, with family if possible.

Provide relationship evidence with a consistent flow from start of relationship to current.

Spoiler

Ebunoluwa had it all right! Photo for sure, skype, FB, boarding passes, hotel receipts, everything you can think of!

g325a is for the ALIEN FIANCE and g325 is for the US CITIZEN. Signed originally.

No. The USC petitioner and the foreign fiance(e) both need the G-325A.

OP> You need to supply original signatures on the G-325A and your letter of intent. You also need to provide a passport photo. Just mail them all together, You can use a courier to send them faster, The delay to gather documents and do things correctly is most likely shorter than dealing with an RFE(Request for Evidence).

You need proof of meeting in person within the 2 years prior to filing the I-129F You need copies of passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel and ATM receipts, credit card/bank statements showing purchases in the other country during the time you state you were visiting, and other documents of that nature that would help prove you were face-to-face.

No, it is not incorrect. Both the USC petitioner and foreign fiance(e) beneficiary submit a G-325A with the I-129F. Please see the I-129F instructions on Page 6 > http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

8. What Other Documents Do You Need?

a. Submit two completed and signed Forms G-325A, Biographic Information; one for you and one for your beneficiary.

The guide here on VJ is correct about each one needing the G-325A. It comes straight from the form instructions. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Also, if your reasoning is because of the description of the form on the USCIS site, well... the G-325 has the exact same description, "To provide biographic information on an alien." http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=a0e747a55773d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

I think I am misunderstanding this....so the g325a has to have the signature of each person?? Because on the form it says signature of applicant...which means the petitioner....If I am the US Citizen pettioning my fiancee....that means I am the applicant....which means I sign both forms....am I correct?????

Submit two completed and signed Forms G-325A, Biographic Information; one for you and one for your
beneficiary. Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat the information given on your Form I-129F.
No, you both need to fill it out and sign it.
