Also, if September filers are almost finished getting transferred I'm now very curious about when October filers will get a transfer. I have an October 1st priority date, so maybe once I and anyone else who has that date gets transferred that will signal the start of October (at least if they are transferring according to dates).

It's very exciting indeed! Seeing the Sept applicants getting transferred on VJ and the "2013 I-130 Filers" Facebook page was like watching the Olympics to me. Go September Go! LOL!

Since my PD is Oct 4, I have a feeling that I may get transferred next week. Fingers crossed!

Only petitions that originally went to National Benefits Center will get transferred to service centers.

If your PD is 10/29 your file should already be at one of the service centers, right?

(since Oct 21-ish petitions have been routed directly to service centers; not NBC)

I hope October filers will start getting transferred tonight!

GOOD LUCK! :)

At October i received from USCIS:

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number **************. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

I am considering for transfer below mentioned notice: (I haven't received i was expecting to get such kinds of)

On Certain Month **, *****, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. (Based on http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/465744-transferred-i130-to-local-uscis-office-for-further-processing/)

Question: Because of i am filer after October 21 doesn it mean i wont get such transfer notice which tells me that i am sent to my local USCIS office ? Guys are you waiting such notice or notice which i received at October about transfer to Certain service centre.

Any useful respond is appreciated!

I think all files after a certain date in October went straight to Service Centres rather than NBC which means by the look of the message you received you are filed at Nebraska so there will be no transfer you will just be in the queue for processing.

But notices are definitly different, one tells you in which service centre you are sent and another tells you that your case is sent to local USCIS office. So bc of i have notice i am sent to Nebraska must i wait another notice about local USCIS office? Just it is confusing both are transfers and as i read when you are getting notice about USCIS local Office it means you are near to USCIS officers desk. Thanks urbangirluk

I got this time line from one guy who made such:

USCIS
03/13/2013: I-130 sent
03/14/2013: I-130 delivered; also Priority Date on I-797C
03/15/2013: Notice Date & Received Date on I-797C (NoA1)
03/17/2013: Acceptance Confirmation email received
03/19/2013: check cleared
03/20/2013: I-797C received in the mail
10/31/2013: Transfer email "to your local USCIS office"; also Notice Date on transfer I-797C
11/01/2013: Transfer email "at a USCIS office"
11/04/2013: I-797C received in the mail; transferred to Nebraska Service Center
12/04/2013: Changed ARN
12/05/2013: NoA2

12/07/2013: NoA2 hard copy received

12/13/2013: Shipped to DoS

NVC

01/06/2014: NVC received

01/08/2014: NVC received (inside building)

02/10/2014: Case#/IIN assigned

02/12/2014: DS-261 available and submitted

02/13/2014: AoS fee available and paid

02/14/2014: AoS fee payment cleared bank

02/17/2014: AoS package sent (from abroad)

02/18/2014: AoS fee shows Paid

02/20/2014: AoS package delivered

So as i guessed, and please if someone knows well confirm me, there is two separate transfer as guy made timeline too. One is service centre transfer and another is local office transfer. Bc on my case service centre transfer was done directly at October already left local office transfer notice which itself is sign that case soon will be approved or RFE.

Thanks

Mkay, I will try again to explain it to you smile.png

Since August 2012 until Feb/March 2013- all I-130 petitons' route was : Lockbox-> NBC-> local office

Feb/March 2013 until October 21 2013- Lockbox-> National Benefits Center (these are the petitions being transferred now)

Because NBC was not able to process I-130 petitions at all and was just sitting on them all this time, USCIS made a decision to transfer them to service centers.

These petitions have been being transferred since October 21 (USCIS announcement about workload shift I posted above)

People get 2-4 different updates when their file gets transferred. These updates say that petition was transferred to 1. a local office 2. another office 3. USCIS office. These are incorrect (and confusing) updates, a glitch that USCIS never chosen to fix. All these updates mean pretty much the same thing- a petition is being transferred to a service center

Since October 21 (when the transfers started) until now: I-130s are routed directly to one of the service centers. Meaning: Lockbox-> Service Center

If you look at the date this person (whose timeline you posted above ) filed I-130 you will see it says MARCH. Which means his petition originally went to NBC. Then he was transferred (local office, USCIS office updates).

So, right now the only processing centers for I-130 petitions are service centers: Vermont, Texas, Nebraska (you), California.

Since your file is already at the processing center (Nebraska) you will not be transferred.

(Unless something changes tongue.png )

Hope this helps!
