Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum and I have had a look for answers to the questions I have but I'm struggling to find the answers I need so thought I would start my own post.
I apologise if some of these questions seem ridiculous and simple, my fiance and I just want to make sure we have got everything 100% correct before we file! Thank you!

The following questions are regarding form I-129F:

This is the link if it helps:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...45f3d6 a1RCRD

- The boxes on the form that don't apply, eg. prior spouse information, do you simply leave the boxes blank or are you supposed to write N/A in each box?
- Q2a. 'In care of name' - what does this mean?!
- 2g and h. Postal code and province for my fiance (he is an American citizen) so this does not apply to him, is that correct?
- 3. Alien registration number - I don't have one, so are you supposed to leave this blank?
- 15. We became VERY confused on this question as it begins by asking if you (UK citizen in this case) has ever been to the United States. Then it states if your fiancee is currently in the US, complete the following... The questions include passport number etc. I am currently not in the US, so do I leave the whole of question 15 blank? It seems to change tense and some things seem relevant eg. passport number. May seem simple but again, really confused us as we just want to make sure we get everything correct so as not to prolong the process any more!
- 30. My daytime telephone number doesn't fit into the box allocated, so what do I do?

The following questions are regarding form G-325:

The link to the form: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/g-325.pdf

- File number: we don't have one, again do we leave this blank? Write N/A?
- Any boxes that don't apply, do you leave empty or write N/A in each? (I have read somewhere to leave this blank - is this correct as we are just a bit worried about doing this in case they think the forms are incomplete)
- Applicant's residence/last address: It has boxes month to and from when you have lived at each address, what do I write for my current address as I can't fit 'present' into the box?
- Where it says 'this form is submitted in connection with an application for:' - we have marked the box for 'other' and then written k1 visa in the specify box next to this - is this correct?

Finally, just a couple more general questions;
- Will we have to pay for the following forms; DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230?
- Regardless of where my fiance lives in the States, we need to file form I-129F at the Dallas Lockbox address, is this correct?
- Also, I intend to go and visit my fiance for just under the 90 days allowed without having to acquire a visa, during the time we are waiting after filing the initial forms... We were just wondering what would happen if my interview etc in London was to be scheduled whilst I was over visiting him in the US?

Thank you so much for any help, again I apologise if a lot of the questions seem straightforward, we just want to ensure everything is correct!

It is G-325A form not G-325. Someone got an RFE for sent that one.

Hey everyone,

I am new to this forum and I have had a look for answers to the questions I have but I'm struggling to find the answers I need so ]

Wow many questions.

Spouse name: None is a good answer in the first box. Then leave the rest a,b,c parts blank. Same for children. Lets them know you read the question and there is no former spouse. Or use n/a.

Alien number - blank because I don't think the form will take n/a

Care of - if you get you mail at somebody else's house or a business name

John Smith

c/o First Federal Bank

123 Main St.

Otherwise n/a

Province- n/a

15a fiance in the US? No so nothing in 15 has to be filled out. n/a in 15a . Rest blank.

29c. You don't have provinces in the UK. Some put county ther like Oxfordshire. Or n/a

30. Foreign phone number. Kind of a dumb form, eh? Hand write it in pen after you print it.

Finally, just a couple more general questions;

There are fees paid in London for those DS-xxx forms. I'll paste in costs at the end of this

Dallas lockbox-yes

You won't get an interview assigned until you jump through many hoops back in the UK. After months and months your petition will get approved. Then count on 3 more months doing London things before you have an interview and visa.

Costs

K1 route = $1680 + £280

$340 (USCIS) I-129F petition

$240 (Embassy) Visa fee

£45 ACPO Police certificate

£235 (Knightsbridge Doctors) medical exam

$30 Courier fee if home delivery

$1070 (USCIS) Adjustment of Status/Work Authorization/Advance Parole

The I-129F form instructions state if something is not applicable or none, then to leave it blank.
