So, My grand mother had received Green card/social security # back in 2004, then she went back to India and never came back. We have not surrendered the GC or SS# for her. How can we get her back to USA?

File i-130 ?

Visitor Visa ?

What is the best solution?

Thank you in advance.

one of her children must file another i-130 on her behalf. There is about a zero chance of her getting a visitor visa seeing as she has HUGE immigrant intent because of her previous immigrant visa. Just because she did not physically surrender her green card does not mean it is valid. Once a LPR leaves the US for a year or more it is automatically taken away.

Yes, I know My dad has to file.

She let b/c, she cant handle cold. we still live in the east coast so, snow is inevitable. not sure if she wants to come here permanently or just visit. She is 84 years old and lives alone now, b/c my grandfather past away last year.

I knew the Visitor visa would be the best choice. But, thought I should ask the question anyway.

thank you for your help.
