How to stop AOS?

The GC is not approved yet but had a letter to waive the interview and may have it within 6 months.
Now, I want to stop it or something like that because of "unfaithful" just occurred.
Please, give me your advice.

write a letter, withdrawing the I-864,

and send it off via certified postal mail,

to:

USCIS local office

address in the letter you just received

and address in the first receipt notice .

today, set up an infopass appointment at the USCIS local office - and go to that appointent, hand-carrying yet another withdrawal letter. Give it over to the floor supervisor at the local office, and ask that it be added to the A-File.

Withdrawing the I-864 can be useful - as without an affadavit of support, the adjustment of status process stops. It's not immediate, as it takes time for this letter to wind it's way through USCIS and get to the desk of the adjudicator that has her casefile.

Taking a 'shot-gun' approach , IMO, is the only way to ensure your I-864 is withdrawn in some timely fashion.

Before you pull the trigger and stop the process take a pause and be sure that is what you want and need to do. Perhaps some marriage counseling is needed or talk to your minister, you have a tough choice to make, but if you know its done pull the trigger and never look back.
