I wish they would subsidize ammo. I find it simply amazing we pay people to watch tv and breed but we don't give out free guns and ammo.

I know...its almost like a communist country that way.

Grenades should totally be legal as well...oh and claymore mines.

Agreed. 2A doesn't say which arms. Our founders left it that way on purpose. They owned warships, cannons, mortars, etc. Figures they would've said, "muskets are OK but not cannons" if that was their intent. They didn't.

We should just get rid of the army and divide the hardware up among the populace. That way if anything is needed, we can all just be the army. Right? Hey Bob, since you got the stealth bomber, can you take care of Syria for me?

Yes, thus my feeling we need background checks. There are citizens amassing war chest right now. I'm 10 times more concerned about that potential regime in charge than any oppressive govenment regulations. It would be Attilla the Hun vs Genghis Khan all over the USA. All the hordes positive what the founding fathers really meant. The outcome would be apocalypse like anarchy. It would be like the film Gangs of New York only with automatic weapons.

A good reason to live near the Canadian border if there ever was one. I think I'm moving to Rochester.
