If your planning to keep the car for a long time then you should buy. If you grow tired of your car in a few years and want to trade it in then lease would be a good idea.

Ok let me give you some numbers :innocent:

Car Value $56,000

Down Payment $1,000

Monthly Payment $329

Lease Term: 27 months

Mileage allowed: 22,500

Justification: I'm a princess :crying: LOL

Tell me what you think so far, this deal is not open to the public. It's special for friends and family.

Actually that is one hell of a deal assuming it is a new car. A 56 grand car will deprecciate more than your payments over the 27 months. I would guerss as soon as driven out of the showroom it goes down at least 10 grand. Can you get two? lol

in the above case, that's probably not a bad deal. you'll spend $9883 in 3 years, but make sure there is not an end of lease payment. and you'll have an average of 833 miles a month....... only you know if you'll exceed that and best to find out what the cost is per mile for overmilage.

No end of lease payment. The balance will be 38K and I can either give it back, re-lease, or finance it. It's a SWEET car. It's 25 cents per mile for overage but if I keep it, then that doesn't really matter. I have to decide by the end of the month, they rarely do this special.

Leasing is only a god deal when you can write it off your taxes as a business expense. Otherwise it has no advantages, and you will get burned when you turn it in for exess mileage, cosmetic stuff, and any other defects that are not normal wear-and-tear.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

i have never been burned. i did have a situation where my last car was in 4 accidents during the lease and i received an invoice for items that were not in good condition (totalled $2100). i replied with copies of all the receipts where these items were fixed by the same dealer that i purchased it from. i promptly received a follow up invoice that totalled ZERO.
