I am not sure of any visa specifically for Nigerian spouses. Follow the guide below

http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

Also, while you are entitled, as a USC, to petition for your husband, you are entitled to no visa

good luck

Sounded to me like the OP was asking about visas a USC can use to go to Nigeria. (o.O)

I think this question would have better chances of being answered in a regional discussion forum then.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Well there's no Visa you are entitled to. You have to apply and be approved. Go here to the Nigerian embassy. There's one in Atlanta or DC. It's all done online.

I assume you already have your passport. The Visa takes about 2 weeks to receive (very fast) cost $180.

thank you all for the response,

i actually got a 6 months visa to nigeria on my first visit, me and my husband did the application together and we mailed it to washiton and the visa was granted.

But this time i have heard some nigerians saying on Vj that , if you're married to a nigerian , you can apply for a special visa called "nigerian wife " or something(with proof of your wedding certificate ), and they usually give you a two years visa instead of the 6 months visa.so that's just what am trying to confirm. thanks all

There is a visa catergory called Niger Wife that you may be entitled to, it is under the CERPAC visa catergory. http://www.immigration.gov.ng/index.php?id=7

I got one about five years ago when we were living in Nigeria. It was free, never expires--and even allows me to use the Nigerian resident line at Immigration (when the customs officials are being friendly). :)

Safe travels!

You get it in Nigeria. I do not know of anyone who has received it via the Nigerian Embassy here in the US. We just went to our local Immigration Office in the state we lived in (Plateau). So, you may want to go ahead and get your Visitor Visa for this trip and then look into the Nigerwife visa when you are in Nigeria.

Like Nigerwife says you have to go to immigration office in Nigeria in person you can't obtain from here.

And that Visa you got that's 6 months that's entry. What they stamp when you arrive is how long you stay. (usually first times get 30 to 60 days).

usually second or 3rd time they give you a 2 year window of entry. still usually only 30 to 60 days but always can extend when you are there.
