I had my interview last August 29th and got approved. Up to now, we're still waiting for an email or text message from the US Embassy. Anybody here who got approved on the same date and got their visa already? I asked the girl from the US Embassy how long it would take for the visa to arrive and she said she has no idea and I just have to wait for it. My expected flight is on the 20th and my fiance and I are worried that my visa would arrive later than my expected departure date. We're going to get married on the 12th of October and we have a lot of preparations to do for the wedding that's why I need to be with my fiance as soon as possible. I have no idea how long it would take for the US Embassy to process my visa.. Please help.. thank you!

Hello & congratulations to you aralnaej24

I had my interview on Friday 30th August. I was told at the interview that it was all approved. As of now I am still waiting and the CEAC status is "Administrative Processing". I am hoping this is normal as at the consulate I was not advised of any additional processing being required!!

As my interview was on a Friday and the Monday (2nd) was a Public holiday, I anticipated a day or so delay.

I am getting a little nervous though as I am due to fly on 20th.

Did anyone else have an interview on 29th/30th? If so, do you have your visas?

I heard that CEAC updating to AP can be normal, I heard it can go from Ready to AP. and then issued.Sometimes it can be on AP for like 2 days or so. Don't worry am sure it will change to Ready then Issued soon. just keep checking it everyday.

My fiancee's interview was on the 29th and when I check, it says it's still at the post.

For anybody who has had it issued, is that before or after Administrative processing?

use this site to check your fiancee's visa status:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

I used to check mine on the US Embassy Manila site and I'd always get the "your visa is still with post" status. I checked my visa status on the CEAC site tonight and found out that mine is issued last Sept. 5th! So tomorrow Im gonna pick it up at 2GO courier service. Goodluck! Just keep checking everyday. :)
