The Alien Registration / Resident Number (A999-999-999) is the one that's on your NOA2, Visa, EAD Combo card & NPIW letter. I'm 99.99% sure it will be on your green card too (if it ever comes). The same number follows you around for life or until you get citizenship.

Derwood - Called my bank today and unfortunately they not only need the number, which thanks to you, I discoved I have but they also need the expiration date of said Green Card, which I (and all the rest of us "rotters" - like something out of the Walking Dead) do not yet have for my wife so I cannot apply for a joint loan to help improve her credit beyond the secured MC we obtained for her (with difficulty) last spring. I would not and will not commit fraud on a loan application by giving them an arbitrary date. So no joint loan before USCIS gets off its duff and gets around to processing and issuing a GC. As I said before, all aspects of our lives are affected by this limbo state of USCIS's making...

You should try other banks, typically loan has nothing to do with GC etc. Finances have to do only with your credit rating and history. I have personally taken out two loans while being on just a student visa.

Financial institutions don't care about your immigration status, they just care about money and hence your credit history. If you default and go back to your home country they will come back to your home country if the loan amount is worth it.

In short this banks/financial institutions requiring GC etc. is not a norm in the industry. I had taken my loans in 2008 so please don't give me "post 9/11" reasoning.

I understand and agree, BUT my bank has the best interest rate and have been with them forever. I will take out a loan in my name and when the GC comes through I'll refinance. Thanks for your feedback...

Isn't it weird that the Field Office processing times haven't even been updated since October 31st? Literally all of them say "As of October 31st"

When does your medical expire? Mine expires in June 2015 and I sent my AOS in October 2014. I am unsure how long the average wait is for interview waiver (if I get one) but I am betting i'll need a new medical...

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

I had my original medical in Australia in December 2013 and then my medical here in the states in June 2014. So no doubt that will expire and I will have to do that again as well.

Out of curiosity, why did you have 2 medicals within 6 months?

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

When I arrived in the states I was told I had to be medically tested here as well. Was mainly just a test for TB and basic medical. I guess my lawyers decided it was a good idea for me to do it lol.

They say they change on the 15th of the month but it varies; there are times they don't change for 2 months. I think the same person handling NPWI cases does the updates (seems as reliable)....BUT remember these dates mean nothing to us...our files are in MO and it doesn't matter that they're processing files later than our receipt date at our local field office. Ours get dispersed on some black box time schedule. It seems that many go to offices very distant from our geographical location. These dates only seem to mean something to the bean counters as to how good they look and executive bonuses (think VA). I stopped looking at them because they just make me angry...

Haha I assumed as much! I obviously noticed it last week, but I thought maybe it'll correct itself, figured it would be worth sharing nonetheless, it was literally assigned to an officer and then a week later it says no officer assigned..

Hi there. I just checked my status and it says welcome notice mailed and permanent status registered on January 5, 2015...feb 28, 2014 for AOS and NPIW received june 5, 2014...they must be working on NPIW cases again, yahoo!

Congratulations BoJo! It only took them nearly a year!

I'm just thinking expiring medicals again ... please could I ask what date you had your overseas K1 medical and if you had any other medical since that date? Your entry to the U.S. was December 13, 2013, correct?
