Posted by Derwood:

"Welcome! Find a comfortable seat, you're in for quite a wait.

Here's a very short summary of what we know about this process so far. Your case will now be stored at the National Benefits Center (NBC) in Lees Summit. MO. After about a year of waiting (from your initial filing date) your case will depart the NBC and head to a local office to be adjudicated. The papers won't go to your local office but to a local office that has capacity to process it at that time e.g. a Floridian NPIW case could very well be processed in Los Angeles local office. One or two people have been asked to renew their medical (at their own cost) but most seem to be adjudicated without a new one. The longest waiting people in this thread have recently sent EAD/AP renewals which you can do 120 days before the EAD expires. Service requests and enquiries usually end up with no reply or a reply of just wait. The published field office timescales do not include your case and there is no point looking at them.

Good luck."

You can get a drivers license if you like. Other than that, just wait like us. When is your NOA1 received date and your NPIW date? As of right now it is about a 12 month wait from your NOA1 received date.

i got my driver licence 3 days ago :P and on 1st of January 2015 i got NPIW latter

On August 1, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485
On September 12, 2014, we approved your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document
On September 27, 2014, the Post Office delivered your new card

So we Battled the unfavorable wintry conditions and made it on time for bout two of my bio metrics. this time for the EAD renewal.not ready to lose my job!?!. could barely see on the the interstate Highway

All i needed was a cup of coffee and a supportive wife that ensured i didnt chicken out in my first experience driving under that condition. heaven knew i was ready to pull over and have her continue the trip.lol

NOA will be a year on the 29th and DL expires 10 days before then. exasperating but patience is a virtue.

So nothing has changed whilst I have been stuck in the car with my hubby driving to Philly. I see that no one has received an approval today and it seems the wait is now much longer. I also see that Plato who did an info pass on the 12th Feb and who was subsequently told their case was in Florida is still no further ahead. Instead of the file rotting at the NBC it is now on vacation rotting in Florida. Yet again no accountability. Enough said.

Interesting, so if they aren't concentrating on DACA, or K1, or AOS what are they concentrating on?

Derwood, just a heads up, my wife and I traveled to Thailand last august, secondary inspection on return, we went back this past January, I returned Feb.19 and my wife returned yesterday and once again had secondary inspection (Chicago) and was questioned quite extensively...anyone traveling with AP is advised to factor this in if you have a connecting flight, we spent 1/2 hour in first line and then 2 hours in the "secondary" room in august, yesterday it took the wife 1hour 20 mins. to exit immigration. No comment on the idiotic situation all of us have found ourselves in, you regular posters at this thread have covered it most eloquently, I just sent for the forms to renew the combo card at the end of March. Remember people, the GC`s will come, we personally will jump for joy, not for ours, but to see the couple`s that have waited much longer than us finally get their approvals. All the best and good luck to all who are a part of this thread, and all those that don't post but are waiting also....stevie n songsang

That's a LONG secondary interview I was there for around 10 minutes at Philadelphia with my AP and for my K1 entry around 15 mins. I am guessing it's dependent on which airport you come into, Chicago is one of the busiest airports in the world, hence probably a longer wait, perhaps?

I brought my wife home from the hospital last evening, 8 days after the surgery. She is happy to be home in our house sleeping in our bed. She is far more comfortable. Hospitals are the worst place for sick people; noise, bothered for this temperature, that blood draw or the other pill - or because of your roommates care. She is home and I am smiling. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. The recovery and postoperative care are going to be long, but she's in that road...

Speaking of another road well traveled by all of us. Lousy week. But what else is new. With daylight savings time tomorrow morning, many of us will be even 1 hour closer to 1 year and a few past. We have notice that our 3rd "rude and bothersome" (and it took me away from a good hand I had in video poker) SR is complete. I expect a letter next week using the words "delay", "workload", "unrelated to your case" and "x days". I anticipate x=120 days. My prediction for our GC is wildly optimistic. Our medical is 1 year old tomorrow...RFE here we come...

Glad she is home where she belongs! I am sure with you loving care she will make a speedy recovery. I hope you do get a reply to your SR ASAP as if you need this stress!!!

I don't know if anyone is aware of this but the processing times were updated yesterday! I still can't put a service request in though as instead of being at the beginning of July it is now at the end of July and I am an August filer, progression is slow!

Tell your wife I am thinking of her and you are all in my prayers.

Not sure if everyone is aware but processing times have been updated since yesterday for the end of January. Pittsburgh hasn't even moved a whole month!

Oh but shell they do! Remember USCIS processes applications in the order that they were received, silly!

Dallas update, working on April 25th as of 31st of Jan, bet you still can't do a service request online. :(
