How in the heck did they do that??

No idea, but I am wondering if this might be sign that they are now concentrating on outstanding AOS cases. I have asked both parties if they would be kind enough to divulge where the card comes from when they receive them (if they haven't already received them) to give us an idea where they are being processed! Fingers crossed that they are sorting out the back log Just hoping some of you on this thread who have been waiting nearly a year will get the same news very shortly!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

I'm glad I read up on this thread today, because I didn't realize I should send my application to renew my EAD/AP this soon. Got it all ready today to send tomorrow, just need to get my 2 passport pictures done. It is frustrating to think I'll have to get biometrics done again, it's an hour and a half drive away and I work every day during the week! Especially since I am just sending it just in case I don't get my Green Card before my card expires. Oh well, it has to be done.

Hopefully I have everything I need:

-Form i-765

-Form i-131

-Form i-485 notice of action copy

-Form i-765 notice of action (copy)

-Form i-131 notice of action (copy)

-Two passport-type photos

-Copy of advance parole stamp in passport

-Copy of previous biometrics appointment (not sure if required but put it in anyways)

-NPIW copy

-Copy of current EAD/AP card (front & back)

You do not have to do biometrics again to renew EAD/AP.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/535801-green-card-approved/ Just seen this one that has been approved with a visa waiver letter.I think.

They have reached a NOA1 of 3/31/14...I hope it's getting close to us...

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/535803-whew/?p=7469269 Another one approved without an interview or a waiver letter!! Things must be moving on positively!!

And 4 months after applying for AOS. 4 MONTHS! I personally cannot believe they did it without an interview (that is the usual timeline for a couple that get a "miracle" interview) If they rally did, I congratulate them but with the other side of my mouth I say it stinks. I said it before, fairness is not in the lexicon of USCIS.

Timeline

Just looked through immigration timelines and it looks like more people have updated their timeline to reflect recent approvals. From what I have seen the approvals come from late Feb 2014, and mid and late March 2014 filers. Looking forward to seeing April filers get some approvals. I am surprised to see recent filers get approvals with no NPIW and no interviews. I hope USCIS steps it up a notch before Feb 18th. Maybe all the 1,000+ new employees and the new service center are working on all the backlog.

25 March '14 filer here too, still waiting. We last heard from them back in June with a 'potential interview waiver case' letter that advised they were 'experiencing delays unrelated to our case'.

My EAD expires in June so I sent to renew that last week... except I realised today that I COMPLETELY forgot about my I-131. I was so worried about losing my job if my EAD expired that I completely forgot about travel. Not I'm not too sure where I should send a separate application for my I-131, or whether I should just risk it and hope that my Green Card comes before June (and I don't need to make any emergency trips back in the meantime).

Do we still need to pay to renew EAD???? Please clarify coz i just read this: "Applicants who seek to extend their work permits need to gather the required supporting documents. They need to send photocopies of the previously issued work permits and Form I-797, USCIS approval notice of the permits they hold, along with their applications for renewal. If they have applied for adjustment of status, they need to submit copies of the receipt notices of their pending applications for permanent resident status. Along with these supporting documents, they need to submit two passport style photographs and the form filing fee of $380. Cash must not be sent. A check or a money order must be used to pay the form filing fee."

This is right off the USCIS Instructions for filing I-765. I believe only 4. pertains to us unless this thread had morphed into something else lately. I also believe 2015 comes after 2007; again I may need reorientation if I am wrong:

Renewal EAD:
If this is a renewal application and you are applying under one of the following categories, a filing fee is not required:
1. (a)(8) Citizen of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, or Palau;
2. (a)(10) Granted Withholding of Deportation;
3. (c )(I ), (c )(4), or (c )(7) Dependent of certain foreign government, international organization, or NATO personnel;
4. (c )(9) or (c )(16) Adjustment applicant who applied after July 30, 2007.
