i'm sorry to hear about this bad news, but insted of thinking about all this, you need to discuss gently with your husband,be sure he got you married first time because he loved you and he spend his money on the visa and wait for you to come to him for love as well,it must be something happning that made this relation worse, think about the good days about him and try to struggle for this relation, you reach a level where we are wating painfuly to reach it which is your interview date, you need to do istikhara ,i'm sure you are muslima and you know about it,ask Allah about this decision before taking any step,go to the interview and take your visa, and wait for him and give time to your relation and love to get back, then decide to go to your husband,i don't think that it is imposible for you guys to save this marriage, everything comes with discussion and anger can damage good relation if you did not controll it,you just start your marital life and the begining which is the hard part because you get to know each other manners and personality,if you pass the first years then life will be easy.

please sister take my words seriously,i'm like your sister and don't wish you to break all this and get divorced while you can be patient and save your marriage.

Thank you , i do istikhara.but i'm tired he may don't remember how i struggled face to my family , to my social life( culture, .....) until i get married to him, if he dont show affectin and Kindness now like i excpeted from him since we got married and started this process what im waiting from him

you can postpone your interview by emailing the consulate.. you could also call, but the email will give you the written proof. the embassy in general can give you extensions on your open application/petition .. usually up to 4 months.

you can do a few things.

1. outright cancel which will have a detrimental effect if you decide to get back with your spouse and continue.. you would have to start almost from the beginning.. I am not exactly sure how this work if the applicant cancels their visa app, but the petitioner leaves their petition live in the system. either way it would definitely add time.

2. reschedule your interview

3. forget to bring your medicals to the interview and receive a 221g request for additional documents, giving you more time to think.

4. go to the interview, get the visa stamp and use the 6 month validity to think it over.

Email the embassy and tell them you'd like to postpone the interview for couple of months. The Embassy will hold your petition there for one (1) year so mark you calendar - if you do not reschedule your interview within a year they will ship it back to NVC.

Email IVCasablanca@state.gov and put your Casablanca case number in the subject line alongside words REQUEST INTERVIEW POSTPONEMENT

Then in the body of the email provide your and petitioner info: full names and dates of birth. Also explain that you'd like to postpone your interview for a later time.

You don't have to be specific when you want the interview to be.

Good luck and I hope you sort this out with your husband.

+1

but I think you only get extensions for 4 months at a time to total one year.. either way keep in touch with the embassy so application doesn't die

you have to get in touch with the embassy directly

from what I understand you can get an extension to schedule the interview for up to four months or you can just pick a date and request it.

you will have to do this every 4 months if you get an extension to make an interview without scheduling it

once you have an interview and are granted a visa.. the visa is good for use one time within six months for travel

Sorry to hear that but that's a very difficult decision to make. Think twice before making this decision because if you do what you are planing now and things gets better between you and him, then it will be harder to put things where they were at this point. Usually couple have problems especially if distancia is involved. So if in your mind you think that you want to be with him and work things out, then I woudn't do it. Just wait until he makes this decison if he doesn't stops the case then don't do it. Now you are making this decision because a lot feelings are going through your mind but when things calm down, believe you will think different. In my opinion, I would wait. Sorry if my opionion differs from everybody else. Hope you make the right decision.
