I already sent my DS-230 and the civil docs. I was filling out the DS-260 last night because it appeared in my INVOICE page when I logged in. It says it takes 2-5 days for it to be processed.

The problem is I can't find where I left off because its not in the invoice page anymore. I didn't finish completing my daughter's DS-260. Did anyone have the same problem?

I filled up the ds260 online and operator said that documents still needed to be mailed and not scanned. After I have done the ds260, it also says there that when NVC received your documents, then they will review the ds260.

Yes. After submitting. It's in the confirmation attachment. Sorry its 3-5 business days.

Starting September 1, 2013, all immigrant visa applicants will apply online using Form DS-260 (Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration). Applicants will also choose their agent online using Form DS-261 (Choice of Address and Agent). Applicants will access both forms on the web at ceac.state.gov.

These forms replace the paper DS-230 and DS-3032. The National Visa Center (NVC) may instruct some applicants who previously submitted Form DS-230 to submit Form DS-260. Only Diversity Visa and Cuban Family Reunification Parole applicants will continue to use the paper forms. If you have questions or feedback about Forms DS-260 and DS-261, contact the NVC at nvcinquiry@state.gov or 603-334-0700.

When did you finish your DS260?

What did you do with your documents?

I anxious about on sending scanned documents as I already sent the originals and don't have copies of them to be scanned.

Please reply.

Well, I just talked to NVC again right now. Now the operator told me since I filed everything before Sept 1st, ignore the email :\ Now I dont know who to trust. Their system allowes me. I fear ignoring the email might cause issues as they might comeback and say "hey we told you to do it...." God, I wish they could keep tabs on their work.

I believe you got this from an Embassy website. Correct? So, let me ask, why NVC operators tells me to ignore their own checklist? Thanks for providing the text. This shouldnt be this complicated.
