I don't know what happened, it's like September came to a screeching halt :/

I still update the spreadsheet and see if people on there are still active. I wish USCIS would get with it already. I agree, looking at future months might not end well (I've been avoiding it & I'm approved lol).

CSC has your RFE, your approval should be very soon. I know it's hard, but the finish line is near. Stay strong!

I don't any movement for us September filers has been made by CSC in almost a week! What the heck is going on!? We just want to move on!

I have thought to check out the October filers thread but decided against it because I think it will just end in frustration for me.....

If you don't want to be frustrated then definitely don't look at November either……….. No movement at NSC either

Earlier we were stuck at USCIS, now at NVC, don't know when everything is going to over with good result. It is most tedious part of the life.

I recommend that you start calling NVC. Yesterday a case number was issued for a petition received on March 17th.

Yeah I have called NVC this morning, It was 6 pm ( there). Lady told me that I should call in couple of weeks to have my case number.

Oh yeah one question,

So after getting case number can we straight start with the process or we need to wait for an official email??

I think they're being told to tell everyone a couple weeks. I got told to call back in 3 weeks. B.S.

Once a case number is assigned, get that number along with the IIN (Invoice Identification Number) from the operator. If the operator doesn't want to give over the IIN (some operators are finicky), then just call back up later and try again.

At the same time, you can give over both the petitioner's and beneficiary's email addresses. By doing this, ALL correspondence (initial information package, invoices, instructions, interview letter, checklists, etc) from NVC will be sent through email.

You'll have to wait for the DS-261 to become available on the online forms portal (link in the first section, under links). This is currently taking around a week or so from the case number being assigned. Once it's available, fill it out.

Wanted to give and update as after calling NVC was told my case was received on 04-11- 14 and of course is way too early for a case #, was told to call back the very last week of May to check if a case # has been assigned by then.

One question, at this point is it possible to continue with the filing at the embassy or does it have to be completed at NVC ? would be awesome to save some time on snail mail

hello everyone i got finally got approved on april 14 2014 and got notified last night. Today in the afternoon i have received hard copy of the notification. Can some body help me know how to proceed next step and to check the status of the applications.

Update your timeline please, go over to the April NVC thread a lot of info as it relates to the next step is there, btw CONGRATULATIONS WHOPPPEEE!
