How do I know which service center to send my 129f petition to ? Do I pick which ever one I want or how does that go?

Also on the 129f form it askes for an Alien number. I am a U.S citizen, but do have an Alien number since before naturalization. Do i need to put it in ? I dont understand this part it confuses me.

Any feedback or other tips before I send this packet in ?

Thank you!

No, you don't choose which service center your petition will be processed.

Where to File :

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For USPS Express Mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

Suite 400

Your packet will then be forwarded to any of the 4 service centers depending on your location. Check this link:

Almost correct. The part I bolded is not quite though. I-129F petitions are not routed to one of the 4 centers. Not all of them process the I-129F petitions. It will go to either the CSC or the TSC, where the petitions are now being routed that used to go to the VSC. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=405247ce85e50410VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=e7801c2c9be44210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Using that second link I see that I fall under the Nebraska Service center but when I check their processing times , it doesnt have form 129F listed ?

OK that makes sense! But I do still send it to the Dallas office first? Thank you for your help

That link does not show how the I-129F petitions are split between the states, so that is why. Nebraska does not process the I-129F petitions.

And yes, always be sure to follow the I-129F instructions. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=a10e4154d7b3d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=1d383e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Any other tips on sending this petition? What are some things you guys included ? Also if you dont mind me asking what did you put it in to send it ? like a binder ? or sheet protectors ?

We used sheet protectors just because we didn't wanna punch holes on the documents. It took us more than a month to send the package because my fiance is a little OC, he went over it like 4 times and made sure he did everything right. He caught even the littlest mistake and if we get an RFE, I'm sure he's gonna flip lol. I created a checklist, let me know if you want it. I'm not saying it's the bible but at least you can compare notes smile.png

When I sent our application I also included proof of my ongoing relationship with my fiancee. I didnt include tons : a few pictures of us together from various places we visited together with hotel receipts and plane boarding passes, sampling of our facebook messages per month since this was our main way of communicating with each other, some google voice call logs, a few email, receipts of packages I sent her etc.

The way I put the paperwork together is I used a fastener to hold everything. I followed tips found here :http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD

Good luck.

The most and the only important thing for USCIS is to convince them you are in the relationship and you have seen each other at least once within the past 2 years.

so, you have to include proofs you have seen each other.

and also you 2 have to be legally free to marry

Follow the GUIDE for the K-1 (link at top of this page) petition.

Address to send the petition package is listed on the I-129F form.... that is the address you use.
