hello everyone kindly check the documents of aos packet befpre I send to nvc. just add if there is missing documents here it is.

tax transcript 2009,2010,2011

ITR 1040 of 2010 and 2011

paystubs 6 months current

bank statement

employment letter

W2 2012

we dont have yet tax transcript of 2012 because he di not filed yet but he was asked to them for tax extension

he will file of 1040 itr 2012 before october deadline.

because the 1040 form he was sent to me coz I need my signature we are joint of tax while I'm here in phils I got ITIN#.

my problem is can we get checklist or rfe if ever they seen that we don't have yet tax transcript of 2012??,,

I plan to bring the tax transcript of 2012 when I have interview schedule soon.

please help guys.. that's all I have documents of aos packet.

I will send this month our AOS AND DS-230 packet together in separate envelop.

I need ur help

List the parties, to whom the letter is going and why, then basically like a table on contents. See the guides and what others in your form have posted as examples. Try and get it all together to avoid delays and problems down the road.

Where is your letter from IRS for extension? You should include that so they don't wonder why. You can easily go to turbo tax and file for extension and get the letter within minutes.

Agreed, you need to include a letter saying you've filed for a tax extension and proof of it.

If you have everything updated by the interview it would be good to include in a cover letter that you will bring an updated I-864 and 2012 tax transcript or return to the interview should it occur after the filing date.

additional docs I forgot to put the ITR 1040 of 2012 Form included also.

what if I submit to the nvc the two packets without tax transcript 2012 yet. while my husband filing the 1040 of 2012 to the Irs this month. atleast we can submit already the two packet to the nvc. If ever they needs the additional documents maybe that time we had already tax transcript of 2012 .

or

I wait until my husband filed the 1040 itr 2012 we still have 4 months left since we got mnl #.

so we still have time.

so what do u think guys.

Thanks for the great advice. I earned $202 last year, but I was told I am not required to file taxes. I would write them a letter of 2 lines stating what you mentioned above and sign it.

Then my joint sponsor, my mom, has to file in I-1864 with me as well.

Now my question is my mom has met and is above the requirement of poverty line for the minium specified for the year 2009 , 2010, 2011.

But for 2012, because she was sick she had not worked for 6 months and only filed for taxes for the 6 months she worked her income was 12,000k gross 9000. She clearly does not meet the guideline for the poverty line for year 2012. But now she is self-employed and starting working again since march 2013 and pays tax quartely with a income of $2500 monthly income.

Sponsor size should be looking at line 2 ? or line 3 or minimum household? I was told by a rep it is 2 but just confirming. As it is me , my mother, and my spouse.

So will that year 2012 will be an issue?

What is the best way to tackle this situation.

My brother has worked in 2012 as well as has made 21k and gross 18k and now has lost the job. Should I have both of them be the joint sponsor as well all live at the same household to meet the poverty guideline ?

I am confused...please help...
