Is typhoid a problem during medicals

Hi,

Our file is in NVC and my wife got fever due to typhoid. Can this be a problem during medical test or during the rest of the process for interview? What questions do they ask in the form during medical test?

Yes that would be a problem while she still has it. But if your file only just arrived at NVC now, chances are she will be cured by the time her medical comes around.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

They will ask questions of illness and since a typhoid shot is one of the must haves she may have to take some other test. Is she still on the meds?

She may want to bring clearance from doctor she had typhoid and took medication and that she is better now.
