So everything's going well so far, and we're close to me entering the US to get married. Now I have the choice of 2 PoE's; Chicago or Detroit.

Chicago is closest, but Detroit is cheaper to fly on. Would anyone have any thoughts on why I should (or should avoid!) be going to either PoE?

As you don't have a timeline, it is difficult to give advice as we don't know what process you're in or where in the process you are.

I have flown through Chicago 6 times at all stages of the K1 process and have only been asked to show a return ticket once - that was on my 5th trip.

Makes no difference. This a personal choice about whether you want to save time or money, and it makes zero impact on immigration.

OHare has better food but I'm biased. Either one will work.

Haha, I was at O'Hare just last week, and boy was it awful. I've flown to either countless times, but on a B1/B2 visa.

Right now I've had my interview and got my passport, so I have my K1 visa and I'm starting to get slightly nervous about the PoE. I always found CBP at O'Hare a little stringent and Detroit Wayne a lot more relaxed. But I guess if it all checks out, I have nothing to worry about!

Detroit is just a LOT cheaper right now, so we're going for that :)

I prefer Detroit. Please note - I never leave the airport, just hopping on the next plane. Be wary if you are leaving the airport.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
