So maybe I haven't even been waiting a bit as long as others, but I am confused by seeing that a lot of people who applied for their K-1 through the California Service Center received notices of approval about 2 - 2 1/2 months after the receipt date. Did you all do something special like contact your senator? Or just luck and maybe they are just doing a great job out there? I know we have enough evidence so I'm just wondering if I need to be working harder.

Timeline:

Oct. 6 - Packet mailed by lawyer to CSC

Oct. 10 - NOA1 Received

and still waiting

May 19 - Set wedding date that I hope we don't have to change

How long have you been waiting since NOA1 btw? I couldn't see your timeline. But anyways, some couples are lucky enough to get their NOA2 faster than others, dunno why. Only the USCIS knows. Try to browse around some more, you will see that some even had to wait for 6-9 months. It's just hard to tell when you will get your NOA2.

Maybe you wanna try calling the customer service and ask about the status of your case. Good luck!

October 10th??? Pppfftt... You have nothing to worry about, just sit back and relax. Rent some DVDs, read some books...er..whatever but I believe your NOA2 will come soon. But anyways, go to HOME and then on the left side you'll find POPULAR FEATURES, look down and you'll find Timelines. After you click on that, I think you'd know what to do next heheh.....

Don't get discouraged.

Fortunately, You filed after the summer 06 IMBRA fiasco, which caused delays of up to 8 months for some.

You will get there fairly quick by comparison.

Try taking a look at Gary's post here:

It might give you a better idea o what to expect.

Good luck on your journey

Believe me if I can wait you can......lol. I am the most in patient person in the world. You are actually not over the time frame. Mine took 106 days to be approve, just be patient and pray, your time is coming soon. Just from watching the peolpe on here it seems that things are moving a little faster. Just keep yourself busy to help pass the time, WJR.
