I married a Filipino lady on June 22, happiest day of my life, she came here on a K 1 visa, POE Atlanta 4-24-13, her AOS is going smoothly except for SS card, applied 7-5-13, have heard nothing, but her passport (Filipino) will expire early next year, what or where in the world do we have to do to get this renewed, PLEASE help!

She can get her passport renewed at the Philippines Consulate or at a Consulate outreach event. It requires a personal appearance. However, it must be done at a Consulate or outreach which has jurisdiction over the place where you got married. To renew her passport, she will also have to file a "Report of Marriage" with the same Consulate or outreach event. Both of these things can be done at the same time.

Check out the Consulate's website for details about renewing passports, filing the report of marriage, and for any outreach events which may be coming to a town near you.

Where do you live? Just contact the consulate closest to you, they will help you! A quick google search showed that there are 10 consulates all over the U.S.

I saw where he is posting in 3 different threads about the same thing, but didn't see the S.C. connection. Thanks Hank.

In that case, the Washington, DC consulate has jurisdiction.
