She is the Sweetest, most helpful person I have encountered through this whole Immigration process. She has taught me more in the last few days than I have learned in the last 5 months. I have talked to and tried to get information from so many people and websites and have just been dissapointed. She has put me on the right path and I am eternally grateful.

Wilhelmina, I see you are from NOLA. I live on the gulf coast as well...in fact, if everything goes smoothly next week, I'll be at the New Orleans airport on the 14th picking up my fiance.

I'm just glad I was able to see your post on another board and guide you to VJ. Some boards are just not worth it and that particular one I have never been so pissed with the rudeness and anti immigration sentiment, not to mention much erroneous info. VJ becomes a home very quickly and you will find your addiction rapid. I know myself, I would of gone insane during my immigration process and seperation from my husband if it hadn't been for VJ and many of the people here. The support, knowledge, experiences, friendships are immeasurable. Meauxna, Yodrak, mdyoung, Diadromous Mermaid (I know I have spelt that last one wrong lol) to name a few, have been my peers and whom I have learnt a lot from since joining.

Keep reading, learning, keep asking questions. Knowledge is strength. I hope your journey back to your husband in the US passes quickly.

I read a lot of the posts and other than helping me out on a couple of questions I had, I get the impression taht she spends a lot of time looking for and reading up on people's issues, researching the answers and sending them in the right direction with not a negative word in ever. From all the people who have received your help and hence have been able to sae their time and anguish, THANK YOU!

Absolutely. She knows where to find all the answers. I have been struggling for months to find them. Some people have been so rude to me when I have asked questions. If you have never been through the Immigration process, you really have no idea about it.
