I'd like to know how long it takes because it's 2weeks already and there's no confirmation that NVC received our case. Can i start calling them tomorrow or is this normal???

My petition was approved by the USCIS and forwarded to the NVC in a couple of days and only spent a couple more there before being sent to the embassy. If you are saying that yours was approved 2 weeks ago and don't know where it is, I would call the NVC first 603-334-0700 and then call the USCIS.

You should consider becoming a little more proactive in your visa journey. Sure, you can wait for USCIS, or NVC, or whatever government bureaucracy you are dealing with, to take care of things for you. However, a review of numerous recent threads would reveal that the immigration system can be full of pitfalls and miscues, that could delay, or derail, your visa process.

Good luck on your visa journey.
