Confused on interview date... USEm Manila

Hello there!

Just today, we got our MNL case number from NVC thru phone... I happened to check on ceac website about it's status... it says there at i's already "IN TRANSIT". But my question is... why it says that NVC provided my interview date??? Am I not suppose the one to get my inerview date sched. from Manila US Embassy??? I am kinda confused.....

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

Hi, K visa applicants are required to schedule their own interviews. The NVC only schedules interview dates for spousal visa applicants. See the link below for more information.

Yeah, that's what I know... i have to sched my own interview... just got confused on the ceac status...

Once your K-1 case is at the Manila embassy, you must pay the application fee (interview fee). When you pay the fee, you will be given a receipt/number, this will allow you to make an appointment. See these pages about paying and how much to pay:
