Holy #######...I thought all the waiting for noa2 was it...

I just called the NVC to see if they have gotten my approved petition yet (I was approved only since Monday) and said to call back on about three to six weeks. But she says something was changed and they are estimating 8 WEEKS.....

In Love with Rosela......

They always said the same . call back after 5 days you will have your case number at least.

I waited 1 one week , and call everyday.usually it's less than a week.

I have been told the same thing. I received my NOA2 on June 18th, but on July 9th I received an email from USCIS and an update on their page that stated that:

On July 9, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

So whether they just shipped it on the 9th or re-affirmed, it looks like they don't send them off right away.
