Your I-129F petition with an IMBRA waiver was approved, correct?

Congrats

Yes, USCIS approved our case in 1 week after we sent back the explanation letter and criminal. :D

My K1 journey:

Aug-02-2006: I-129F sent

Aug-14-2006: Cali service center received

Aug-15-2006: NOA1 (14 days)

Oct-23-2006: touched the 1st time.

Oct-24-2006: touched

Oct-25-2006: touched

Oct-31-2006: Email notification of RFE

Nov-17-2006: IMBRA sent to CSC

Nov-21-2006: touched ------- CSC received IMBRA

Nov-22-2006: touched

Nov-27-2006: touched

Nov-28-2006: NOA2 (118 days)

Nov-29-2006: touched

Dec-06-2006: received approved letter by mail

Dec-14-2006: NVC received

Dec-19-2006: received mail notification from NVC ----- got new case number

Dec-22-2006: HCM consulate received

Dec-27-2006: pkt3 sent by HCM consulate

That's great. Those that are concerned about filing for waivers will be happy to hear this. If you can, please post your method of waiver under the IMBRA topics so that others may take advantage of your experience and gain hope.

The more information everyone has about granted waivers, the better it is for all. You don't have to be to specific, but if you can post the general wording that will help a lot of people.

Congratulations on your approval and granted waiver. Good luck in your new life.

This is the first report of a case where an IMBRA waiver was required due to a previously approved petition within 2 years that i have heard of.

4/15/07: Married, in a noreaster (Day 146)

6/20/07: AOS, EAD, and AP mailed

6/26/07: NOA1 (Day 6)

7/14/07: Biometrics (Day 24)

7/23/07: Recieved AOS RFE (dated 7/17) for W-2s, mailed them out the next day (Day 33)

7/27/07: RFE response received, processing resumed (Day 37)

8/14/07: AOS transferred to CSC (Day 45)

8/21/07: CSC received/is processing AOS (Day 52)

8/29/07: Welcome notice mailed! (Day 60)

8/31/07: Card production ordered! (Day 62)

9/11/07: Greencard in hand! (Day 73)

03/16/03: Met the love of my life

01/24/06: Officially began our relationship

11/01/06: He proposed marriage :)

02/17/07: I-129F Sent to NSC

02/23/07: I-129F NOA1

02/28/07: I-129F NOA2 (found out while checking on-line)

03/02/07: Received hard copy NOA1

03/08/07: Received hard copy NOA2

03/13/07: NVC sent packet to La Habana

03/27/07: Telegram "sent" to fiance to pick up packet 3... never received

04/02/07: I contacted the "embassy" to find out status of case and set up pick up date

04/04/07: Fiance picked up packet 3

04/05/07: I called toll-free # here to set up appointment for my fiancé

05/10/07: Interview scheduled for 7:30AM... Visa Approved!!!!!!!!

05/14/07: Picks up passport/visa and brown sealed envelope

05/15/07: Paperwork for the carta blanca turned in

05/24/07: Carta Blanca received and bought plane ticket

06/04/07: Entry into the US... together again!!!!!!!

08/07/07: MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont have much experience. My bf wrote 2 explanation letter.

1/ explanation why his relationship didnt work out. why he didnt marry that girl.

2/ explanation our relationship and we love each other most. we want to start a family....blah blah. and that's why he applied 2 K1 in two years.
