Is it okay to send I-130 and associated documents the very next day of the marriage?

or does it sound too planned?

Thanks!

I don't see any issues. We did the same but it took some time to gather all the documents.

What matters is when you met when you got married etc...

I'd say don't worry and go ahead yes.gif

Good luck on your Journey!

I don't think so. I submitted it 2 weeks after marriage and that's not very long either. As long as you have all the other bonafide evidence you will be fine

I submitted my original I130 within a week with no issues. Application of common sense would imply that most marriages / merging of households are planned events.

i don't get it.

Agree - you hope that this is all well planned, both the marriage and the decision to immigrate.
