Hello! where did they transfer your file? which local office or Nebraska? thanks

I have not recevie the actual letter by snail mail, so I can't confirm as of the moment.

But based on this USCIS alert, it seems that they are moving it to Nebraska SC

Got a text and email that my applications are now approved. PD is July 9, 2012 @ VSC. I did contact the congressman of our district last week.

Anybody can point me to the guidelines on how to proceed from this point? I remember seeing it here once.

First congrats for your Noa2 I think it is a big new now that the f2a is current , we are on PDaugust 2012 and Im thinking in contact the congressman of Ga, and i have a couple of questions for you

1 Did this letter speed up your petition ?

2 What did you wrte in the letter ? can you post it so we have an idea ?

and to answer your question, as I read in the forums your case is now going to be transferred in the next three weeks ( according timelines of posters ) to NVC they will send you a case number and start the process ,a lot of people call NVC just to make sure they got their case.

1. I think it helped since I got the approval notice 2 days after the case worker at the congressman's office called me, confirmed the receipt of my letter and notify me that he will inquire about the delay of my case at USCIS. My application was not transferred to any local service center as others are reporting. The case worker called and informed me a day after the approval that my applications are now approved. The case worker will also follow-up the case with NVC after 8 weeks (regular processing).

2. I based my letter from the one posted by apple21 in this link. The other thing I mentioned is about the priority dates of my applications which are now current.

You need to sign a Privacy Realease Form and Immigration Release Form before they can act on it as required by law.

Does anyone know if the NVC process for spouse and minor child are the same? I sent two I-130 at the USCIS and both are being forwarded to the NVC. My wife is currently working/living in another country while my daughter is in the home country. TIA.

08/27/13 Approval (NOA2)

08/30/13 Hard copy of NOA2 received

09/04/13 NVC returned file to USCIS

I-485 APPLICATION

08/6/13 I-485, 765, and 131 package mailed

8/7/13 package received by USCIS chicago

8/12/13 text and email of acceptance received

8/15/13 hard copies of I-797c receipt notices received

8/19/13 FP notice recieved, FP scheduled for 09/06/13

8/21/13 Successful FP walk in

9/3/13 Status changed to testing and interview

9/6/13 Email for interview scheduled for 10/9/13 at 2:30 pm in Philadelphia

10/7/13 EAD and AP approved

10/9/13 Interview lasted less than 5 mins and was approved on the spot

10/17/13 combo EAD and AP card received, but don't need it since GC has been approved already

10/21/13 10-year GC received, wow so much good things happening. THANK YOU JESUS!
