after RFE sent for NVC

How long before you hear anything after you have sent in your RFE to the NVC?..They had been fast But now I haven't heard anything ..Sent back paperwork on the 10th June..Is this normal to wait this long with no word?..Ive called NVC but so far nothing...worrys me as That was my hubbys original paperwork and want to make SURe they have received it..Thanks

I'm sorry what kind of visa are you chasing? (your profile says F-3)

Also the NVC sends out checklists - RFE is for the USCIS.

After they receive the checklist items it can take up to 20 business days for them to review it.

we did the uscis it was appoved..this is the Final step before embassy..Im sorry I wrote wrong info as I still don't know what its called we did the USCIS Im the USC filing for Danish hubby..all paperwork sent to the NVC so bow no word..Just need to know if this is normal..waiting for a case close...

and They did send a RFE for NVC...so Not only USCIS but also NVC will send an RFE..I just need to Know how Long of a wait after papers sent till a case close....

The technical term is a "checklist" but yes it is just like an RFE.

Again you haven't filled out your timeline but no matter.

You or your husband will have to call the NVC to find out if you have a case closed OR wait for the email, which generally arrives about a week after a case closed.

After that you will have to wait up to several months for an interview date.
