Got email from NVC about our re-submitted i-864, I was again a new checklist but the good thing is that they mentioned to bring the correct i-864 to interview. So now waiting for interview date.

Does anyone know, is it ok if i send my spouse a scanned copy of newly filled i-864 with corrections? or do they need my original signature of it?

Just hang on your turn will come. I have a friend dealing with Lagos and they had to change interview twice it was changed within 24 hours.

So imagine all the different embassies and they have DCF, and cancellations, moving around, postponements.

Now we have NVC in the mix and frankly in the last 6 months they have gone from bad to worst.

i remember when i filed March of 2012 and read about NVC and saw the record was 10 days. I was so going to break that record. Ha. My case was no where to be found for 30 days.

You just have to hang on and of course call or wait for interview letter.

I called NVC earlier and was told that our case is being queued to be sent to the embassy but still no interview schedule though. I'm thinking anyday this week or the next we should have it since based on the other folks from the same embassy and approval dates, so far they have yet to get their schedule as well.

I called yesterday, nothing new. I think I'm just gonna call once a week from now on. That saves me 20 min on hold every day just so they can tell me "we are just waiting on the embassy to have room available"
