yeah on the uscis site it says NVC or Department of State? Whats the difference?

I think there is no difference... they are ALL BUNCH OF LAZY ASSES!ranting33va.gifranting33va.gifranting33va.gif

But seriously I don't know the difference between two. :)

2012-12-10 - NOA1 Received

2012-12-06 - (NOA1 Receipt Date)

2013-05-29 - NOA Sent from VT

2013-06-03 - NOA Received: Case transferred to Texas Service Center

2013-06-21 - NOA2 Approved

2013-06-27 - NOA2 Hardcopy Received

2013-07-16 - Approved case shipped to DOS

2013-07-19 - Medical In Moscow Completed

2013-07-19 - Case Number Assigned

2013-07-22 - Case In transit to Consular Section

2013-07-24 - Case is Ready for Interview

2013-08-06 - Letter of Invitation via email

2013-08-12 - Interview. APPROVED!

2013-08-19 - Visa Received

Anyone got this? I haven't changed my address??? On July 10 my approved petition was sent to Department of state, and today this??

On July 11, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. 11/07/13 - BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT

11/16/13 - USCIS Status for I-485: Testing and Interview

12/03/13 - USCIS Status for I-131 AP - Approved / USCIS Status for I-485 - Card/ Document Production

01/07/14 - INTERVIEW @ 1:00pm, USCIS Hagatna Guam -APPROVED

01/08/14 - Card Production Ordered

01/09/14 - Register Permanent Status

01/14/14 - For Delivery with USPS Tracking No.

1/24/14/ - GC on hand

ROC I-751

10/09/15 - Eligible for ROC

10/21/15 - I-751 Packet mailed via USPS (2 day Priority Mail)

10/23/15 - Delivered to USCIS California Service Center

10/27/15 - $590 charged to account.

10/29/15 - received NOA dated 10/23/15

11/06/15 - Biometrics received for 11/18/15 appointment

no but if its any help, I got the same message right before it updated to being sent from vsc to tsc, so who knows?

On the other hand, I know you cant call but I did find this email for them... sent them a email, just in case it does work

  • Enter your NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number in the Subject Line of the e-mail.
  • Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth.
  • If the petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name.
  • Provide the attorney of record’s name, law firm and address (if applicable).

I suspect that the email is probably a waste of energy.. wonder who the person is that came up with the way the petitions are processed, seems like he or she must be insane
