I love coffee and although I shouldn't have any right now (preggo) I can't help but have at least one cup a day (sometimes two...). I like the "instant crystals" too. It tastes just like regular coffee - if you drink it often enough and stay away from good coffee. My husband hates the instant stuff but...do I care???

A lot of people think you HAVE to give it up all the way and I can attest to those beliefs because I get weird looks anytime I order a cup and even get asked if I want decaf instead...hehe...You are good to go with having a cup here and there and I have even read that you can have up to two cups as long as they aren't two starbucks size cups! I don't have coffee everyday like I used to but I will get a latte or coffee about every other day or so.

Me too! I used to go to the grocery store with my dad and he'd leave me in the gourmet roast section where I would just stay and sniff.

I know that coffee inhibits the body's absorbtion of calcium and can contribute to PMS for women in general. I'd recommend buying a copy of Earl Mindell's Vitamin Bible. He's a pharmacist and nutrionist. It's a great reference for questions like that.

I have heard that the process to decaffeinate coffee uses many chemicals and is worse for you than the caffeine.....dunno if it's true or not, but I was told to look for 'naturally decaffeinated' tho it was tea that we were talking about. Might be worth checkin into for coffee....tho decaf is like nonalcoholic beer imo
