My case is in NVC and I have also been worrying about that matter, my fiancee makes $13.5 thousand a year, which I think is not enough. On the other hand I have one of my relatives in the US who makes more than $50.000.00 and owns a big house. He said I can help you and grant you affidavit of support. I want to hear from you about someone other than your Fiancee granting you an affidavit of support???/

yes co-sponsors are generally accepted

BUT

it is embassy specific as to whether or not they will accept a co sponsor.. might be better to ask this in the regional forum

Thank you Stevie b for the information. I am new in the Website, its taught for me to post. there's no specific directions in order to post in VJ.

In general you will find it easier to post in both your visa specific and regional specific areas. If you click "portals" at the top of the page it will automatically take you to a page listing topics started by people also dealing with Malaysia.

This is the CR1/IR1 spousal visa area and you are a K1 visa chaser. All embassies and consulate have to accept a joint sponsor for a spousal visa while they are hit or miss on joint sponsors for the k1. You might get your best answers in the K1 forum, the consulate discussion forum, or Asia: East and Pacific regional forum. Best of luck to you :)

Here is a link to the I-864P Poverty Guidelines, you need to meet or exceed the 125% requirement.

Whether a co-sponsor is accepted or not depends on the embassy, so that question is country specific.
