We also did not have pictures of our engagement, pictures engagement ring etc...but we submitted hard copies of our conversations like emails, sms and phone bills. Our emails and sms alone is 2 inches thick lol. I was asked by the consul if we talk regularly...i showed her the evidence her reply was "Wow!"lol You will be fine even without engagement pictures.

Just prove that your relationship is genuine. If you feel that you need to "prove" that you are engaged, then emails, letters, Facebook messages from family and friends congratulating you should be good enough (we did print some out for the interview but the CO didn't ask for them).

Your timeline is blank so not sure where you re in this process. Still waiting for the -129f approval?

The I-129F only looks for proof of having met within the past two years; photo together is something they look for. They also want the Letter of Intent stating you plan to marry within 90 days fore each of you. Don't worry about an engagement ring or receipts of same.

The embassy during the visa application asks for evidence of genuine engagement:

k. EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE ENGAGEMENT. You must be prepared to prove to the consular officer that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and a clear intention to marry within 90 days of admission into the U.S. In the past, successful applicants have submitted photographs, letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records, and remittance records as evidence supporting their relationships and intent to marry.

Hey! That is a good bunch of information , do you kow were i can get that info for the embassy in Lima, Peru?

Thanks in advance

To provide the evidence of a genuine engagement for the visa interview, all you need is an updated letter of intent (similar to what you sent in for the I-129f) reaffirming your intent and willingness to get married. This is ALL that is needed to prove the engagement.

Photos, chat logs, emaiils, phone logs, etc. all just prove your relationship, not that you are engaged. For proof they want something signed by you both stating and affirming your intentions to marry--THAT is your engagement proof.

For the K-1 interview, proof of engagement is an updated letter of intent. That is it.

Nope. I took a quick look a the Lima embassy website and found nothing like that , not all the embassies are the same, Manila does the complete process online, no packets mailed.
