Would a newborn 1-2 months old be required to do the medical as well ? Yes. All intending immigrants, regardless of age, are required to undergo medical exam. http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml

What about the interview does the child need to attend ? Yes. All intending immigrants, regardless of age, are required to be physically present at the day of the embassy interview.

I read that children must attend , but wondering any possible exceptions with newborns .

Also the CFO does the child need to attend ? Babies are exempted from attending the CFO seminar but it is mandatory that you register them at CFO. http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1347:for-filipinos-leaving-the-country-with-an-immigrant-visa&catid=139:pre-departure-orientation-seminar&Itemid=917

Infants are priority in medical exam. If the baby's not yours, she will need to go medical and CFO.

If She's under crba, no need for medical exam.

I will see what we can do . If she will be able to get all of this done in time . If not we might postpone or make the interview for a later month . Thanks for the info

Big question first off: Is this a child of a USC? If so you only need to get the U.S. passport

If not then:

Yes has to do the medical: http://www.slec.ph/#

Does not have to attend CFO but does have to get the sticker. CFO requirements
