Any December filers at TSC still waiting approval? I'm a Dec 28 receipt with still no word on my case. I've tried doing a service request with USCIS as well as contacting the Congressman's office-no luck on getting any information about my case...starting to go crazy!!

im dec 28 and still waiting.......as i checked every case around me has either gotten approved or an RFE......mine has not been touched yet, except to the dreaded transfer of texas...ive contacted my congressman, still no word from them...ombudsman never got anything back from them. service request was a joke.

  • 4 weeks later...

Just filed actually and sent to TSC. Are they moving pretty quickly? 5 months ish?

Well, you sent it to TSC, but it will be sent to either vermont or california.........then you wait for approval or RFE. Good luck!!!!

my own humble "journey" got approved on day 208, and that was july 23, 2013 out of texas, after being transferred there from vermont in may.

I'm confused. Where did it go? This is the opening sentence to my email.

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

all cases get sent to Texas then from there it goes to vermont or California, depending on where you live. You will get in the mail a letter(NOA1) which will tell you where it was sent to for processing. this receipt # will allow you to go to www.uscis.gov and check on the status of your case.
