i kept on asking myself what the toughest waiting is so far, 1. could this be the waiting to submit my AOS, or 2. the waiting to hear and receive the form I-797c, notice of action for i130,i485,i765 etc, or could this be the waiting of 3. the biometrics appointment or 4 waiting on testing and interviewing 5. or may be the outcome of an RFE, or may be 6. the interview day it self or waiting to collect and receive 7. the green card and EAD.

For me personally i think waiting to receive the first correspondence has been the longest one for me psychologically and mentally so i would pick the no2oops8rh.gif

I have had 3 interview experiences so for me the worse wait was waiting for my then fiance to call after the interview only to hear we were denied. When we applied for I 130 the worse waiting was waiting for the NOA2. And now that we have applied for the children the worse waiting is for the interview which is Thursday 6/6/13 and waiting to see if they will request DNA

Hello welcome to the club .I applied for adjustment of status last year October and guess what, i am still waiting.I did all that i could do but all to no avail. I contacted my congressman and he also put in his efforts and still nothing. The only positive reply he had from them was my case has been selected among others as interview waiver case.So guess what? i am almost 8 months now and still waiting.Others applied since july and they are also still waiting.

So my only advice is to just ignore it for now and sit tight. Because the more you think about it the more you will be worried about it. Until you hear from them , just sit tight and at least give them about 8 moths or more and see. May be you might be one of the lucky ones who can get theirs faster too.

Chao.

I don't know....I was freaking busy so I did not even really "wait" just went to school, attended classes, studied for tests....by the time I blinked I had my green card already in the mail. But maybe this is not just because of me being busy, I simply had a very quick process, had my EAD three weeks after I've got my EAD, and a month later got the interview date for the end of that actual month and I just had no time to worry much. I worried a lot more of my midterms and finals....LOL :)

WOW abu, I'm sorry to hear your case. I filed at the beginning of September and had my green card by November...I really hope soon you'll have your application speeding up!!! All the best!

No DNA requested than God. I am glad that rollercoaster is over. Now my family can come home and we can move to the next hurdle. More waiting to come.

Good Luck everybody.
